Step-by-Step Process for Income and Employment Verification

1

Business Requests Data

Joel wants a loan to buy his first house. Best Bank wants to verify that Joel is currently employed and his current monthly and annual salary. Best Credit Union works with MeasureOne for VOIE, or income and employment verification.

2

Consumer Consents and Grants Access

Joel gives MeasureOne consent to access his current employment and income data and share his current income and employment information with Best Credit Union.

3

MeasureOne Accesses the Data

Joel provides MeasureOne the necessary credentials to access his income and employment data from a trusted data source. MeasureOne accesses and extracts Joel's income and employment data, and uses it to confirm monthly salary, annual salary, and employer’s name.

3b

Consumer Uploads Required Documents

Alternatively, if Joel cannot access his data, he uploads his paystubs and provides his bank account credentials. MeasureOne parses Joel's paystubs, accesses and extracts his direct deposit information from his bank, and compares it to his paystubs to confirm monthly salary, annual salary, and employer’s name.

4

Success! Data Shared with the Business

MeasureOne reports Joel's salary and employment data to Best Credit Union.

JOEL RECEIVES HIS LOAN AND IS NOW LIVING IN HIS FIRST HOME!
