Approve what data is shared and with whom
In exchange for a product or service, the business asks you to share specific personal data, which may include: student enrollment status, degree(s) earned, current salary, or recent employer and job title.
You give permission to MeasureOne to access your personal data for the specific purpose(s) of the requesting business. You log into your online account within the MeasureOne platform to connect your source data.
Once connected, MeasureOne retrieves your consumer-permissioned source data. This data may include transcripts, student profile information, payroll stubs, earning statements, or employee profile information.
MeasureOne analyzes your permissioned data and extracts the information necessary to complete the requesting business's request. ONLY the necessary information is extracted and shared.
For example, in an enrollment verification, a college transcript can be used to verify enrollment. However, MeasureOne will only share the enrollment information extracted from the transcript and not share the full transcript with the verifying party without explicit consumer consent.
MeasureOne provides the infrastructure for consumers like you to harness the power of your personal data in exchange for products and services.
MeasureOne works on your behalf, providing you with a layer of security and confidentiality when sharing your information with a business. Without MeasureOne, you may find that you’re asked to share sensitive personal information that may be irrelevant to the requesting business. For example, if you’re applying for a loan, the lender needs to verify your gross salary. It might ask you to share your full paystub – which contains much more information than just your salary. By using the MeasureOne platform, only the information that you’ve consented to sharing – your gross salary – is shared with the requesting business, keeping the rest of your personal data confidential.
Our product is thoughtfully designed with a consumer-first approach. We focus on transparency, security, privacy, and ease of use to make your experience, and access to product and services, as simple as possible.
